The English Gaucho from Buenos AiresLiving in ArgentinaMy name is David Cummings and am originally from London but i have lived in Argentina since 2003. In my former life I earned my living playing guitar and signing for my supper . It was a great life but I felt it was time for change hence me landing here all those years ago. I now own and run Estancia La Margarita located around 280 kilometers from BA which is open to guests who want to have a gaucho type experience . I have written various articles and reports on life in Argentina my most recent being How to Live (long) and Prosper in Argentina. I divide my time between the city and the estancia . In BA I have helped many people settle here by helping them find a property to buy and on the estancia guests come to see how life is in the countryside and whats it like running an estancia |

bjland4 from beijingThe Yangtze River or Chang Jiang is the longest river in Asia and China, and the third-longest in the world, after the Nile in Africa and the Amazon in South America. The river is about 6, 300 km long and flows from its source in Qinghai Province, eastwards into the East China Sea at Shanghai. It has traditionally been considered a dividing line between North and South China, although geographers consider the Qinling-Huai River line to be the official line of geographical division. As the largest river in the region, the Yangtze is historically, culturally, and economically important to China. |
