Saludos fellow sojourners! I'm a Hoosier living in SoCal, and am about to make my dream come true!! I'd like to retire in the Salta area, and would welcome any advice. I speak fluent Spanish and will be arriving Aug 2 or 3 (middle of winter-doh).I didn't have time to get a resident or rentista visa, but will be scoping out rental prices. I've read that officially any renter needs someone to "guarantee" them. How common is it that a landlord would not require a guarantee, or to see a resident visa, to rent to someone?
